Senior Coastal Engineer, Project Manager > Muscat, Oman Cat
My client is looking for an experienced and ambitious coastal engineer to join their marine team in Oman. You will be acting in a senior capacity providing back up and reporting directly into the Marine Manager for the Gulf region.
This is a long term opportunity with a leading civil consultant. With a variety of large and exciting projects in hand and a number of tenders nearing award you will join a busy team in a senior position with excellent opportunity for advancement.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Coastal or Marine Engineering.
- Excellent experience in breakwater and sea outfall design projects.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in large capital marine projects.
- Previous experience in the Middle East would be a benefit.
- Experience in coastal modeling, breakwater design and dredging works is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee, manage and design coastal and port engineering projects.
- Expert witness and review of coastal engineering designs.
- Prepare technical reports and proposals and liaise with clients and regulatory authorities.
- Business development and group resource budgetary planning.
- Development of coastal science, engineering man hour and project cost estimates.
