Senior Transport Planner > Abu Dhabi, UAE > US $10,500 per month TAX FREE package.
This is a permanent staff position in the UAE with a global multidisciplinary engineering ????? ?????. With operations throughout the Middle East (and worldwide) they are currently looking to supplement staff within the Abu Dhabi branch.
Reporting to the Traffic and Transportation Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of transportation engineers and modelers to assist with the redevelopment of Abu Dhabi’s transportation system. You will work closely with other team leaders to manage business on a day to day basis and play a significant part in driving it forward. Your overall remit will include project management of a variety of projects as well as the delivery of technical work to programme and budget.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering ????? ????? minimum of 8 years post graduate experience.
- Experience in development planning, development control and traffic and transportation planning.
- Demonstrable working knowledge in a range of transportation software and modeling techniques such as VISSIM, TRANSYT, EMME2, SIDRA, Synchro and HCS.
- Understanding of British, American and International design standards.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out traffic and transportation design to International and British standards and local municipality and utility authority regulations.
- Supervise Junior Engineers and CAD operators in all project related matters.
- Complete projects on time, at cost and quality to match or better my clients’ QSE standards.
- Build and maintain working relationships with clients, networking and promoting the company.
