Our client receives supplies of water and electricity from the production companies connected directly to the Abu Dhabi water and electricity grids for onward transmission to the distribution companies. The company is responsible for transmission of electricity at high voltages of 400, 220 and 132 kV and for dispatch of generation units, water storage and water transmission of 1600 mm to 800 mm pipelines through the Emirate. In addition to transmitting water and electricity throughout Abu Dhabi, our client also maintains the transmission networks (water and electricity) and administers the settlement system.
These roles are located within the Asset Management Directorate. This part of the business is responsible for maximising the effectiveness of the asset infrastructure, defining the investments and work required to deliver the service outputs and to manage specific programs with the organisation.
The purpose of this department is to identify, quantify, and monitor the future asset investments requirements. This will take account of key factors including the growth and connection, requirement, connections and performance of the asset statutory obligations, economic regulations and current emerging best practices.
They are currently in a position to bring ????? ????? both an Asset Performance Manager and an Asset Management Director.
The Asset Manager will report directly to the Director of Asset Management
Several key functions of the Asset Performance Manager are:
Ensure needs are identified, solutions developed and sponsored so that the company’s electricity and water transmission facilities continue to meet their customer service requirements are complaint with the electricity security standard
Ensure that the company’s inspections and maintenance policies for the power and water asset are developed and agreed.
Ensure the company’s replacement plans for the power and water asset is developed and agreed on.
