ACRWORLD are working EXCLUSIVELY with a Saudi based company who are responsible for the Technical Construction Management of one of the worlds most valuable railway projects. We are looking to appoint an exceptional individual who will be responsible for design review and construction management of the rail project and its associated infrastructure.

Requirements

  • The Technical consultant will be a Railway Engineer who is able to demonstrate at least 15 years experience in heavy passenger rail projects.
  • You will be able to provide evidence of a successful career in the Construction Management of large scale railway projects involving infrastructure works particularly relating to civil engineering. Your expertise will include Track, buildings, bridges, Flyover bridges, underpasses, stations, yard layouts, tunnels, construction of workshops, depots, fencing Level crossings and signalling installations.
  • You will be a knowledgeable manager in numerous aspects of construction methods, estimating and scheduling. Your wealth of experience will be crucial in overcoming engineering ????? ?????, to ensure timely completion of project stages.
  • It is paramount that you have an expert comprehension of industry codes and standards and these should include UIC and AREMA standards.
  • Railway Infrastructure maintenance experience will ensure your credibility at the management level.
Responsibilities
  • Carry out construction supervision of the Project to ensure timely completion through consistent monitoring.
  • Adequate supervision of works, procurement of material, rolling stock, machinery etc., to ensure compliance with the required design and specifications
  • Liaising with the Consultants and Contractors as our clients expert representative]
  • Monitor the progress of work and Identify events that may cause delay in completion of the project and suggest remedial measures to mitigate the effects of such events to ensure that the Contractors are complying with their obligations
  • Review and keep control of Project Status Reports and Project Progress reports received from Consultants.
  • Examine proposals received from the Contractors duly checked by the Consultants in connection with changes in the design specifications, or core requirements and conditions.
