The government of Qatar is engaged to improve its education system and they been establishing a network of new schools. They are seeking an experienced Senior School Mathematics Teacher to mentor local teachers in their schools. You would be employed through an Australian education body to assist the teachers in these schools. The position is to start October 2009 or as close to this date as possible. This position is available for a 10-12 month contract.

We are seeking a Senior School Maths teacher with:

• Minimum 5 years recent teaching experience in Mathematics to grades 10 -12.
• Must have at least a Bachelor in Education or Teaching Degree and a Maths qualification preferable
• Must have experience in providing professional development to adult learners
• Be prepared to relocate to Qatar
• Immediately available for 10 -12 month contract.

This role requires someone who has the ability to coach and mentor Mathematics
teachers who are currently in place in the designated schools in Qatar. Successful
candidate will have exceptional communication skills in English and be part of a team of experienced mentors.
