We are representing the search from one of our clients, a top ranking architectural and engineering ????? ?????, for a Head of Architecture to work in Abu Dhabi.  The person will be responsible for managing the development and growth of the architecture department.   The successful applicant will have extensive experience with high rise and large scale mixed use developments.  The company provides long term career opportunities, generous expatriate salary packages and career development. 

Requirements

• Degree qualification in Architecture with at least 15 – 20 years experience and registered with a professional body such as AIA or RIBA.
• Ability to provide leadership and mentor staff
• Strong technical leadership
• Previous experience in a similar role within a consultancy in the Gulf
• Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills as well as proven management capabilities
• Extensive experience working on high rise and mixed use developments

Responsibilities

Management of Architectural team

Management responsibilty for all operational matters within the architectural department

Developing and maintaining professional client relationships

Technical and design leadership

Other duties as required
