Security Technician (Time to reward yourself?)

If you’re working in the security industry as an installer, you’ll know that there are really just two types of employer out there. The first are your tier 2 and tier 3 companies. These are the “one man bands” or smaller companies with just a couple of employees. If you’re working for one of these, then you’re probably not getting much (if anything) in the way of training and development. You might also be required to use your own vehicle. And just possibly, you’re not being paid what you’re really worth.

 

The second type of employer is the tier 1 company (our client). These are the large professional companies that provide training and development, a fully maintained vehicle and offer real career opportunities in the long-term.

 

If this sounds relevant to you, then it’s time to start thinking about where your security industry career is heading – and to start looking at other opportunities.

 

This role will see you working in the residential sector and installations will vary from new homes to existing luxury premises.

On top of the residential installations, you will spend some time working in the commercial team with the occasional faultfinding and maintenance work thrown in – enough variety to keep you interested and developing!

 

You could have years of experience or even be a junior alarm installer with 1 - 2 years plus experience.

What we are looking for is a proven performer that knows the Vista, Bosch NX or DSC range of panels.
