The Centre for Building and Furniture Studies within Box Hill Institute (BHI) is a leading provider of industry relevant training and assessment services across the eastern region and beyond. The Centre offers a range of articulated career pathways and training solutions in Plumbing, Carpentry (General Construction), Offsite Construction (Joinery/Stairs/Shop Fitting), and Cabinet Making.
This role will provide a Centre wide leadership and management in the systematic, effective and efficient use of resources and operations across all qualifications within the CPC and LMF training packages, including international and commercially orientated programs. This will include the allocation and monitoring ????? ????? workloads, room usage, plant and equipment and the utilisation of staff in accordance with Certified Agreements.
To be appointed applicants must have a relevant trade qualification, extensive experience, Cert IV in TAA and an AQF level teaching 5 qualification which includes supervised teaching practices.
Applicants must also possess outstanding communication skills, knowledge of quality assurance and the ability to write, design and lead in the development of assessment strategy tools.
