Senior Statutory Planner

 

The Mornington Peninsula is often referred to as Melbourne's playground, offering ????? ????? mix of urban areas, coastal towns, villages and rural land, all of which provide an excellent opportunity to gain experience working in the many diverse aspects of Statutory Planning.
You will be responsible for providing a high level of professional service to our customers in relation to the Planning & Environment Act ad the Mornington Peninsula Scheme.
This role provides the opportunity for you to apply your planning knowledge to a variety of diverse and interesting development and use applications. You will have well developed time management and communication skills, with the ability and confidence to mediate, negotiate and resolve issues to achieve effective planning outcomes.
You will assist with the coordination of the team and provide support to the Team Leader including providing guidance and direction to team members in relation to their own development and work performance.
You will have a tertiary qualification in planning or a related discipline (eg. environmental science, urban design, land surveying, architecture etc. A minimum of 3 years experience in a planning related field is preferable.
