Sales / Business Development - Managed Services

  • My client is a fast growing IT managed services provider with an client base of small to medium businesses.  They require a suitably qualified Sales / Business development professional with a strong technical background.  You must be a real hunter for this role......

    The Role

    • Relationship management for established accounts
    • Hunter for new business opportunities
    • Maximising & increasing revenue from existing client base
    • Responding to tenders, writing proposals etc
    • Presenting to prospective clients
    • Sales planning / forecasting
    The Requirements

    To be successful in this role you should possess:
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in sales & account management in the IT sector
    • Experience in cold calling
    • Proven track record of achieving & exceeding sales targets, KPIs
    • Experience in selling managed services preferred
    • Some technical understanding of IT solutions - hardware, software, networking
    • Strong business acumen
    • Clear communicator & excellent relationship building skills
    • Confidence and a 'can do' attitude as well as a flexible approach
    • Ability to liaise with customers at all levels & presentation skills
    • Team player
    A base of salary of approx $50k with an expected OTE of $120k+ awaits the successful candidate.
