The Company
This organisation has been established for over 40 years and has strong credibility in the market place. They market a complete range of foodservice equipment from ovens to feezers, and pride themselves on their consultative and value added service - which includes a functional kitchen on site to enable customers to test equipment before purchase. They are currently looking for an experienced sales executive to join the Victorian team - Interested ?
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager - your mandate is to achieve sales targets across a designated territory in Melbourne with a regional focus in Tasmania. Customers will be split between stakeholders who make purchasing decisions in the aged care and hospital channels (probably the core focus) - as well as senior decision makers in restaurants, clubs, sports stadiums and convention centres. The position will have a new business orientation and will deal with customers directly in healthcare, and through distributors and wholesalers in the foodservice channel.
The Person
The successful candidate will ideally come from a medical⁄healthcare sales background and have a strong passion for food. The demands of the role requires someone with a track record of sales achievement and a proven ability to generate new business - but above all you should be comfortable in a commercial kitchen environment.
