Business Development Manager - Victoria

As a market leader in the automotive accessories industry, this highly successful and channel focused business operates in both the OEM and retail markets. With well known brand names, the challenge is to further consolidate their status in Australia whilst developing diversification from their current products and exploring new markets.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role will be primarily focused on growing existing channel partner accounts while identifying new business opportunities across the retail and aftermarket vendors in Victoria. You will also be instrumental in supporting and training channel partners to ensure the continuing accuracy of product representation and will ultimately be responsible for ensuring healthy margins.

With demonstrated multi-channel sales experience and proven commercial acumen, your B2B experience will be complimented with strong analytical skills enabling you to report to key stakeholders on sector profitability and competition in the market. A customer focused approach and drive for results will ensure the business and channel partners are provided with innovative business solutions.

You are a team orientated sales professional, ideally from a second tier OEM or with an automotive background with outstanding negotiating and multi-leveled stakeholder management skills. It is essential that you have previously held a similar position in the B2B space, dealing with conflicting products in complex sales channels.
