Our client is a market-leading manufacturer and importer of a wide assortment of wholesale products to a diverse range of trades including an extensive and expanding range of media for the signage and display print markets. Established for over five decades, they are 100% Australian owned and have branches and distributors throughout Australia & New Zealand.
An opportunity exists for a solutions-based Product Development Manager with experience in sales to the Print and Signage markets, to develop sales of Print Media / Substrates through their direct sales effort and by providing hands-on product and sales support to the national sales team.
The role requires a high level of responsibility and commitment. You will have extensive knowledge of the Digital and Screen Printing industry, and the media used in the production of outdoor signage and industrial applications including vinyls; self-adhesives, specialty films and substrates, where these products are used, and how to reach the major users and convertors.
It is anticipated 70% of your time will be direct sales and 30% will be in supporting the sales team with product knowledge and interstate visits making calls with the local sales representatives to assist in the development of a national recognition and presence in this competitive market.
Essentially you must possess unlimited motivation and a strong desire to excel in the company’s growth plans. You must be well organized with your time and passionate about the Display and Signage market.
In keeping with the importance of this role you will be rewarded with a high base salary, company vehicle (or car allowance) and generous variable component.
