This client is a mid-sized company based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.  They provide a range of wireless data capture solutions to the manufacturing, warehousing, transport and retail industries.  There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced BDM within this industry to come on board and help further grow this business.

Reporting to the GM you will be given open slather to target appropriate industries and companies.  Your general duties and responsibilities will include:

• Utilising your industry networks and contacts to source new business opportunities
• Running presentations to management and key decision makers
• Submitting tenders for larger businesses while also proactively sourcing smaller accounts
• Achievement of budgets, targets and KPI's
• Solution sales to clients and offering advice and customer service
• Ability to sell to a long sales cycle of upto 6 months in some cases
• Working in a team environment

The successful candidate will need selling data capture solutions, mobile computers or retail Point of Sale products to various industries.  You will need a stable working history with a track record of achieving budgets.  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential and you will be well presented.  You will also be open to targetting both large and small businesses to meet your targets.
