Company
Our client is a manufacturer of high end consumer electronics. Their current leading edge technology consist predominantly AV products ranging from TV’s, DVD players and HI FI equipment through to MP3 players and digital camera's. Their reputation within their industry is the envy of their competitors. Due to demand for their products has lead to expansion of their sales force nationally.
Position
The Key Account Manager’s position will see you manage a portfolio of major retailers at a head office level. This will involve educating both your colleagues and staff at store level on the product range. The role is highly autonomous and you will have the full support of a strong and established management team.
Candidate
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years territory or area management experience. Experience in consumer electronics is not a must. However, a successful background in dealing with major retailers such as Harvey Norman and Clive Peeters is essential. Outside of this criteria you will be able to demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills, the ability to work autonomously, confidence in your sales ability and the desire to succeed.
