As our business embarks on this exciting period of change a fantastic opportunity exists for highly motivated and commercially focused DVD buyer to become a part of our success story. This role will give you a fantastic opportunity to use your sound commercial acumen to develop and execute the merchandise strategy for the category to drive growth and customer satisfaction. You will hold full accountability for the success of your portfolio with responsibility for product development, range, price, merchandising and supplier relationships.

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in DVD buying gained within a fast paced multi-outlet retail environment, operational experience will also be highly regarded. You will be entrepreneurial, innovative and creative with the ability to operate in a dynamic, customer-driven retail environment. Proven ability to champion and drive change, along with budget and financial management experience will be critical for your success. You will need to have strong people skills and the ability to take people with you at every stage, from building relationships with suppliers through to influencing and shaping thinking at the leadership table.
