Make your mark in this ground-breaking new role in Melbourne’s East

You will already be an enthusiastic editor with experience in managing people and setting directions but more than that, you will also have a passion for local communities and will know how local papers play an integral part in the communities they serve.

In this exciting new role you will become a senior editorial manager with Fairfax Community Network, leading a team of passionate journalists responsible for producing 12 weekly publications in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

As Community  Editor, you will be responsible for the creation of content that informs, entertains, leads debate and most importantly; engages with our communities.

Apart from possessing strong editorial skills, you will be comfortable with leadership and development of people and will have an abundance of passion, vigour and fresh ideas.

You will have the capability to take a “hands-on'' approach to design and also the willingness to “take a risk’’, try new technology and adopt a contemporary approach to the reinvigoration of our products.
