QA Technologist - Beverage
Leading Beverage Company
6 month contract with a view to extend.
Located in the Northern Suburbs
Our client is a reputable beverage company who requires the services of a QA Technologist. The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the quality for raw materials through to finished product and provide technical support to Sales, Marketing and New Product Development.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your key accountabilities will include:
- Maintenance and implementation of Quality Systems in accordance to HACCP.
- Ensure QC packaging, raw and finished product specifications are met.
- Sensory evaluation.
- Quality system documentation.
- Investigation of customer complaints.
- Coordination of NPD projects for technical purposes.
A tertiary qualification in Food Science or equivalent is essential for this role coupled with the knowledge of food quality systems such as HACCP, ISO and GMP. You will have an outstanding work ethic and be able to communicate effectively. This is an ideal role for a fresh graduate who is enthusiastic and determined to take advantage of this rare opportunity.
