This market leading manufacturing ????? ????? to appoint a Purchasing specialist to join the team on a 12 month contract basis. One of the words most innovative, specialised manufacturing ????? ?????, this global company has a presence right across Australia.
The role of Purchasing specialist will work very closely with the Supply Chain team focus on reducing raw material costs and implementing new Purchasing strategies. You will be directly involved with the Purchasing of raw materials from an international supplier base and will also work heavily with internal stakeholders.
The successful applicant will possess strong purchasing experience gained in Manufacturing ????? ?????. You will have had exposure to contract management and worked with an international supplier base. Strong technical skills are required - a high degree of proficiency in Excel and ideally JD Edwards. Supplier and internal stakeholder management and performance evaluation are key to this role, so strong communication skills are essential. A strong personality with the ability to implement change is required-if you have the necessary skills apply now.
