Leading Hand - Afternoon Shift

 

Monday to Thursday - 3pm to 1am

$19.95 per hour

Our client is one Australia's largest supplier of freshly baked cakes and biscuits to the country's leading supermarket chains. This global company is experiencing growth and is seeking an experienced leading hand to join their production site in Heidelberg on the afternoon shift.

Reporting to the Afternoon Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the output of the cake production area; ensuring ????? ?????, quality, efficiency, cost and service standards are delivered consistently.

This is an afternoon shift role based across four days, Monday to Thursday, 3pm to 1am. This role will be remunerated on an hourly basis, with a base pay rate of $19.95 per hour. Any overtime will be paid at penalty rates.

Your key performance objectives will be to:
* Lead and direct staff to achieve production targets.
* Ensure all aspects of production are achieved.
* Ensure Quality Control is according to benchmark standards.
* Ensure OHS practices are adhered to.

To be successful in this role you must possess previous experience as a leading hand, or have extensive experience as a production worker, particularly within the baking or food industries. You will possess excellent communication skills, display strong leadership skills and the ability to problem solve.
