Our client, a long established, successful womens brand label fashion apparel company designing, importing and wholesaling to a range of retailers requires a focused person to take on an important role. Reporting to the director, activities include:
.Managing and building existing relationships with retailers (Buyers)
.Presenting ranges working from the Melbourne showroom
.Building on existing business, targeting new accounts between ranges and visiting clients throughout the Melbourne Metropolitan area
.Managing stock (including end of line) and monitoring stock movement
.Ongoing servicing of clients re deliveries, stock availabilities, enquiries, etc
.Setting up showroom for new ranges
.Working out marketing strategies to increase exposure of brand labels
.Developing product with major clients and providing feedback to designers
.Working to budgets
The ideal candidate must have appreciable years of relevant experience working for an Australian womens apparel fashion company importing and wholesaling to a range of retailers, have a creative approach with an understanding of product development, be proactive, able to use initiative, be organised and well presented and able to handle Buyers.
