Our client, a successful fashion company, designing, importing and wholesaling to well known major retailers and chain stores requires an experienced and dedicated person to take on an important role. Activities include:
.Working closely with Buyers and identifying product opportunities
.Developing a commercial product to suit Buyer market profile
.Presenting new, ongoing product to Buyers
.Coordinating the entire sampling process
.Keeping in touch with latest trends and developments
The candidate must have appreciable years of relevant experience working for an Australian fashion company importing and wholesaling to major retailers, extensive exposure to newborn, baby, toddler, boys, girls sleepwear, underwear and outerwear, a strong understanding of development in this market, some account management experience with the ability to make effective presentations to Buyers, able to interpret Buyer requirements and direction, understand offshore manufacturing, and able to work in a small closeknit development team.
