This is a fantastic opportunity for a CNC lathe machinist to progress in your career.
This Preston engineering business is growing strongly and is in need of a trade’s person to operate, set and programme NC lathes via the controllers and at times use Cad Cam plus use CMM for precision measuring.
As a CNC lathe machinist you will be setting and operating CNC STAR lathes / Slide Machines with bar feeders and NC lathes with Mazatrol. Mitsubishi and Fanuc controllers plus use a variety of Cam programmes such as SolidWorks, PartMaker, PowerMill or MasterCam.
Most work is low volume for industries such as Defence, Medical, Pharmaceutical, and various others.
You must have the following:
- Trade qualifications.
- Excellent CNC lathe skills.
- Programming experience.
- CMM Experience.
- Low volume production exp.
- Cad Cam experience.
The successful candidate will be offered an excellent wage plus a long term career role. This is a fulltime permanent position.
