Our client, a market leader in freight distribution, is seeking a highly motivated individual to head up the Victorian business in the key position of General Manager. This is an autonomous position requiring ????? ????? starter with high energy levels who can manage and develop the Victorian external and internal teams to maximise opportunities and also have accountability for bottom line results. This is an immediate opportunity for a dynamic individual with high energy and drive to take control of this specialist business in freight distribution and take the business into its next stage of development within Victoria.
The primary responsibilities of this role will involve total control of the Victorian business including annual sales and margin budget achievement. There will be face to face involvement with the sales team for retention of current customers and development of new business while building and developing your team of sales professionals.
The ideal candidate will have highly developed communication, computer and organisational skills with an outgoing personality, be a front line manager with high energy levels. Importantly, a sales and operational knowledge and background in all aspects of freight distribution is required.
An attractive remuneration package including base salary, superannuation, vehicle allowance and a performance bonus will be structured to attract the right candidate.
