Trainee Technical Specialists Maritime Platforms (Various Positions)

APS 2, 3, 4 (S&T Level 1 or Level 2)
$42,239 - $58,864 plus 15.4% super
Position Location: Melbourne

The Defence Science and Technology Organisation is recruiting for a pool of people to join the Maritime Platforms Division and be trained as technical specialists to support research programs in a range of technologies that enables enhanced operational performance and survivability of defence platforms.

If successful, you will undergo a rotation program in which you become familiar with a wide range of issues related to the performance of Defence ships, submarines, aircraft and land vehicles. After the rotation program you will be assigned to work in one of these areas.

The anticipated starting date for this intake will be February 2010.
