The Age Print Centre, home of The Age and Australian Financial Review, is one of Australia’s most modern and respected printing facilities. We are inviting applications for the position of Loading Dock Coordinator, Night Shift.
This position will be responsible for the night shift coordination of product dispatch. The role plays an important part in ensuring ????? ????? products are dispatched in accordance with safety, on-time running and quality objectives.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Managing and Coordinating the safe operation of the Dock area at the Age Print Centre
- Effectively coordinate the on-shift planning of dock operations in close consultation with the Age Print Centre's employees and drivers. This includes liaising on daily production issues such as anticipated output times and product quality
- Ensure all contractors and employees comply with Safety, Health & Environment & Security procedures
To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate the following:
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in safely managing a loading dock operation at a similar or higher level of responsibility (highly recommended but not necessary).
- Have a high level of awareness of Safety, Health & Environment requirements within a manufacturing ????? ?????.
- Demonstrated planning and organising skills at leadership level
- Computer skills in MS applications (MS Excel & Word)
- Leadership experience in the manufacturing ????? ????? environment
