My client who are experiencing an increased workload are embarking on a large scale software project and are seeking the expertise of a mid level test analyst for a 6 month contract. This is a challenging and innovative organisation and you will be required to think outside the box and really stress the software. You will demonstrate a strong testing background within manual testing and have the ability to write automation test scripts.   
   
Skills & Experience    
   

• The ability to test the functionality and stability of client/ server applications, mediation software and web applications  
  
• Knowledge and experience in long distance networks will hold you in good stead for this position , however it is not essential  
  
• A strong knowledge in manual testing and at least 1 years experience in automation testing  
  
• Preferably experience with QTP/ Winrunner- however all automation test tools will be considered  
  
• The ability to understand and identify potential system issues  
  
• Previous software house industry experience is desirable  
  
• 4-6 years testing experience ideally from a network and or telco testing background  
  
• Any experience in either white box or black box testing is desirable  
  
• The ability to create and modify QTP test scripts  
  
• A professional and positive working attitude is required  
  
• Being able to think outside the square is important
