My client is a global financial organisation and are currently looking for an Application Developer (Sharepoint) to join their enterprise development team.
You will be required to provide 2nd and 3rd level support for all applications that have been implemented by ADS (Application Development and Support). This involves investigation into and resolution of incidents and problems as reported in the IT Service Management application (Remedy). It also involves the coordination of the testing and deployment of application modifications through to production.

This role will involve development of new applications to suit the business purposes in the defined SDLC internal methodology in the Software Development Environment technology space.
The applicant will need to be able to work autonomously and will also require strong communication and documentation skills. Strong problem solving skills are also required for this role.

Experience

Minimum 2 years proven experience in developing web applications using Microsoft .NET/C#/ASP.
Minimum 2 years proven experience in Sharepoint and related technologies.
Microsoft .NET 3.5 is the revised standard web application platform and the employee must be able to develop code around C#.NET Framework This also covers the included technologies such as Silverlight, WPF, WCF, WWF, AJAX.
Visual Studio 2008 is the standard integrated development environment. Visual Studio Team System/Foundation Server experience is desirable.
