An outstanding opportunity exists for a Senior Software Engineer with RTOS sto join a growing and very successful asset and vehicle tracking systems developer located in Melbourne. Over the past decade the client has been an industry leader in providing advanced GPS based vehicle tracking solutions to the commercial and defence sectors. What sets them apart, is their advanced expertise in integrating WiFi and cellular networks with their systems. Due to acquisition of new projects, they currently have a a requirement for a C/C++ software engineer with a specialisation in radio, WiFi and/or cellular communication systems to join their team.
Job Description
- Design and implement advanced WiFi, radio and cellular communication technologies for commercial/industrial based networking products
- Write C/C++/C# software and determine areas that can be enhanced
- Program on a mixture of Linux based RTOS and Win CE environments
- Embedded C programming on low powered 32-bit microprocessors
- UML modelling
Although not necessary, CANBUS skills are highly desirable
The ideal software engineer should have a minimum of five years industry experience and Permanent Residency is expected as a minimum.
