Based in offices around Melbourne Airport, you’ll enjoy projects from the planning and design stage through to implementation. Day to day tasks will generally revolve around the following in the radio communications, and advanced electronics integration:
- Investigating and trouble shooting equipment and processes
- Preparing ????? ?????, documentation, specifications, estimates, quotes etc
- Preparing ????? ????? instructions and co-ordinating with other groups
- Develop, trial and issue modification plans
- Develop instructions for the Install, test, commission a wide range of communications navigation and other apparatus
- Generate engineering ????? ?????
These positions offer so much more than simply communications, if it keeps aircraft safe, they do it…including Radar and Navigation, visual displays, surveillance equipment, avionics etc etc.. You can be certain challenges await.
Independent and motivated you have extensive experience in systems integration. You understand the overall systems, from how components work together to make a system work.
Required to make schedule, cost and quality decisions, you are happy to complete a task with little direction and able to develop and coordinate a team.
This challenging position will require you to have excellent communication skills as you will regularly interact with all levels within the company and external customers.
You will be well presented have a sound understanding of systems engineering ????? ?????. Most ideal would be candidates who have developed their careers from trade or technician ranks and progressed with further education. Formal Quals are essential, including a trade qualification, Cert 4, diploma or degree ideal.
