Network Specialist

Rate: $54 per hour

12 month city CONTRACT

We are seeking a Network Specialist with a background in WAN LAN, TCP/IP and Networking…

You will be responsible for installation, decommission and ongoing support of Network Infrastructure, including Routers, Switchess, Firewalls and will require after hours support on a rotating roster basis.

You will be required to Implement and Support a Cisco Platform, Strong experience with Cisco Data, Wireless and Voice Products is a necessity.

Your main duties will include:

• BAU support of the network infrastructure
• Management of problems and escalations where required
• Callout services to third parties as required

Your experience will include:

• Proven experience in a large scale implementation role
• Experience with Juniper devices
• Understanding of relevant network protocols, services, management tools and problem conditions
• Understanding and working knowledge of Cisco's platform of products. Including CUCM, UCCX, CIPC, Cisco Umified IP Phone, Cisco Unified IP Conference Station, IVR and Voice Gateway

You will be a motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a creativity in resolving product issues.
