The major functions and responsibilities of your role:  

• Evaluate and win business opportunities in the Government Sector in Victoria.  
  
• Revenue realization and order booking from government sector  
  
• Lead meetings/sessions with the customers/prospects at different levels, including top and/or middle management  
  
• Relationship building with key stakeholders in govt departments  
  
• Supports pre-sales and development of proposals and ensures their consistency  
  
• Actively participates in the conceptual design of new ideas and the preparation of proposals for internal approval  
  

  
Ideally you will possess: (please address in Cover letter)

• 10 - 15 years of experience in selling IT services to Govt depts. and agencies  
  
• BE , MB A preferable  
  
• Well networked at Government CXO levels in Victoria and or Canberra  
  
• Prior experience with organizations focusing on Govt sector e.g. Supply Chain Consulting, IBM, HP etc Exposure to Govt systems and technology infrastructure  
  
• Functional experience in Govt Dept Processes at State & Federal level in Australia  
  
• Deep understanding of the decision making process and hierarchies in Australian States, NSW & Victoria
  Prior experience in key result areas is highly preferable.  
  
• Excellent customer interface & communication skill  
  
• Ability to travel frequently  
  
• Good or expert knowledge of MS excel, MS PowerPoint and MS access.  
  

  
This is a genuine career opportunity, salary is negotiable based upon experience ( base +super+commissions upto $180k) is on offer to attract high quality candidates.
