2 year fixed term contract

This government department is currently undertaking a number of large scale infrastructure projects, and as such requires the services of an experienced Infrastructure Architect to work within the Design and Architecture team on a 2 year fixed term basis. This position will see you liaising with multiple stakeholders in developing ICT strategy and policy for a state wide health initiative. Ideally with a strong understanding or experience in the health sector, the infrastructure solutions you will assist in creating will cover:

• hardware
• data networks
• operating systems
• database software
• application services
• messaging and integration
• security

This role will see you identify issues that may impede project initiatives, create documentation and architectural diagrams, and manage the development of business cases.

Proven experience in long term strategic thinking, an understanding of the health industry and considering ????? ????? various stakeholders will be key to this position, whilst specialist expertise with:

• Windows
• Unix
• Citrix
• and Oracle

will be highly regarded.
