Our client is a leader in their industry. They offer flexible working hours with an excellent work/life balance and a great opportunity to be a part of a major project. They are looking for a Systems Engineer with a strong focus on Windows and VMWare to be involved in the strategic Server Refresh and Consolidation project. You will be part of a project team responsible for driving technologies forward and all aspects of centralising and modernising the server infrastructure.   
   
You will be a self motivated technically minded Engineer with working knowledge and experience in Enterprise environments, and a broad base of infrastructure experience. You will be part of a team providing technical expertise to major IT projects. You will be part of several projects at any one time.   
   
To be successful in this role you MUST have:   
   

• High level technical skills particularly with Windows server and VMWare  
  
• Sound knowledge of SAN attached storage and data backup and recovery processes.  
  
• Experience in deploying large scale IT systems  
  
• Experience working on large IT projects, as a member of a team and/or as technical leader  
  
• Excellent English communication skills
