An exceptional Hardware Design Engineer with knowledge of both electronics design and embedded C programming is required by a telecommunications specialist.
The client is a niche provider of defence solutions and has a R&D team looking to increase their headcount in line with recent success. Your role will be varied and multi-disciplined with you involved in the complete development life cycle. This role will involve a mixture of board level design, digital/analog circuit design, PCB layout/design (using Altium), and programming in embedded C on chosen microcontroller architectures (ideally AVR Micro-controllers). The successful electronics engineer will also be required to be familiar with Altium design tools.
If successful, the successful hardware design engineer will be working in a small team and be given the opportunity to take on challenging and long term projects in the defence. This is the opportunity to join a company and become a key member of the team, bringing your own ideas to the table.
To be considered for this Electronics Design and PCB layout role you will ideally have 8+ years experience of electronics design engineering ????? ????? a healthy mix of the following skills:
- Digital & analog design
- Board level design
- Embedded Microcontroller and Microprocessors (experience with AVR micro-controllers is highly desirable)
- Embedded C programming
- PCB layout
Embedded C software engineers with PCB design layout experience (using Altium/Protel tools) and electronics design will also be considered for this electronics design engineering ????? ?????.
