Juniper Technician with CNCIA / JNCIS Certification

12 month Contract

Experienced Juniper Technician with Juniper JNCIA qualifications required!

You will join this dynamic team to provide your expertise in Juniper.

Your main duties will include:

• Physically install Juniper equipment and interconnect as necessary
• Power on Test Juniper Equipment and modules
• Load, Upgrade, Downgrade, patch and hotfix Juniper Operating Systems (both JUNOS & JUNOSe) associated configuration files and patches
• Perform test procedures including: functional, scale, regression, patch release, hotfix, upgrade and rollback
• Documentation duties including: operational procedures, bug fix results, test plans and test results, Methods of Procedure (MOPs), upgrade and rollback procedures, software version comparisons.
• Fault find and escalate as appropriate to resolve hardware and software issues as they arise within the test environment
• Build Juniper networking equipment, interconnect, test configuration files, load test
• Perform regression testing on patches and new source code/operating system

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

• Juniper CNCIA / JNCIS Certification
• Experience installing Juniper equipment
• Experience producing documentation, procedures and test plans
• Experience with Juniper M & T series (carrier track preferred) products

This is a 12 month contract based in Melbourne CBD.
