SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER (WINDOWS)

The purpose of this position is to maintain support and service excellence so that customer satisfaction is continually improved. To ensure that product and system performance is in accordance with specified standards. To continue to enhance your skills in the use of systems and diagnostic tools used in support and maintenance. A large part of this role will be project based, and your experience will also reflect this. Our client has some major and exciting projects coming up with the latest technologies!!! This is a senior position and you must have several years experience in a similar role!  
   
The key responsibiities are:   

• Undertaking the planning for the installation of new products & equipment and enhancing of existing equipment.  
  
• Keeping up to date with customer trends & developments,  
  
• Consult and meet customer expectations  
  
• Performance monitoring ????? ?????  
  
• Supervising the activities of the team when required,  
  
• Providing on the job training & guidance to the less experienced System Engineers.  
  

  
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, our client is looking for a person with:   

• Previous System Engineer experience especially having being involved in project based work usch as system design, migration and deployments.  
  
• An equivelant Industry recognised certification particularly MCSE, also having ITIL.  
  
• MUST HAVE extensive experience working with: Active Directory, MS Server 2000/2003 (and 2008 would be highly advantageous), Exchange Server.  
  
• Experience with Citrix and virtualization products such as VMWare.  
  
• Strong English communication skills, both written and oral.
