Situated within our growing IT portfolio and titled ‘Senior Technical Officer, SAP Functional Analysis’ we have a unique and absorbing position for an SAP FI-CO professional that provides analysis and tailored solutions of our SAP systems to best achieve workable outcomes for our various end user groups.
Liaising collaboratively and closely with our Finance team on a daily basis you will report through to the ITS Manager Finance and HR Systems and be part of a diverse team. Your main areas of responsibility will include:
- Investigation of SAP Finance system issues
- Configuration of SAP Finance systems
- Preparation of specifications and documentation for system changes and developments
- Implementation of Change Control Measures
- Identification of areas where SAP can be utilised to support business requirements
The ideal applicant will possess a good understanding of successful Finance systems that is coupled with solid SAP systems knowledge. An easy going nature will fit well, as will your client services orientation. Understanding the importance of teamwork and cooperation, you are adept at continuing to build relationships across departmental boundaries. Some experience in a prior Financial position will be advantageous as will your education sector familiarity.
