Business Analyst- Workforce Management

Exciting opportunity in Workforce Management

Specific Role Purpose: As part of the Workforce Management team, this position will undertake key analysis and reporting on Workforce Management operational tasks. Within a small team of 7 people you will be responsible for a number of tasks that directly influence the strategic management of workforce excellence, learning & development, resource management and the graduate program within a large business unit at Telstra. Specific Accountabilities: - Assist in the implement of the 1 - 5 year workforce strategy that will assist in meeting its business strategies.
- Maintain, update and report on the capability inventory database for 1500 employees
- Administration and improvement of the 2 year graduate program, including Induction Events, regular catch-ups, special project.
- Manager annual external training schedule plan and coordination and facilitation of training needs analysis department wide
- Collation and reporting on Return of Investment learning metrics
- Supporting the Industry funded external accreditation process of key job practices
- Collation, analysis and reporting on Resource Management information
- Assist in maintaining and updating the line of business role and job definition library (position statements, career and competency matrix) in collaboration with HR.
Specific Capabilities: - Degree qualification in Business Administration and Management, HR, Organisational Development
- 2-3+ years of experience in business consulting
- Experience in People Performance and behaviour processes
- Commercial exposure
- Have managed varying stakeholders to ensure complete buy in and success of projects
- Communicate and influence of middle to senior management
- Able to work in a growing area requiring ????? ????? implementation
Desirable - Certificate IV in workplace assessment or similar
- Basic understanding of People Processes in large organisations
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Excel
