Health and Safety Coordinator

    An exciting opportunity exists within our HR team for an OHS professional to put their proven experience and coaching abilities into action, leading the development and coordination of our OH&S management systems.

    Working within a supported team environment and across the various MCM portfolios the role allows you to build strong relationships with a range of internal clients and to lead our senior staff in the planning and delivery of health and safety strategies. You will have the opportunity to add significant value across the organisation through your specialist knowledge, while also providing a generalist HR consulting service to selected programs. As an integral member of the HR team you will share your expertise with other team members but will also draw on their support and advice to assist you in the HR generalist elements of this role.

    Other key responsibilities will include developing strategies for continuous improvement in OH&S, reviewing and implementing OH&S policies and procedures, coordinating internal OH&S resources, analysing and reporting OH&S data, ensuring ????? ?????, assisting programs with accreditation compliance, overseeing the work of the WorkCover/RTW Officer and developing and implementing organisational health and well-being initiatives.
     
    This position is based in the CBD but will involve regular travel to metropolitan offices. Whilst nominally a full-time position there is flexibility to suit those seeking a part-time role. We offer a competitive remuneration package including access to very attractive salary packaging arrangements and supportive work/life balance provisions.
