In Victoria they have a young energetic sales team and are currently looking to adding a Food Service Sales Executive to service the North West of Melbourne including Country Victoria.
This is a Sales role which will include new Business Development and Account Management.
You will be responsible for the sales of product to end users via a distributor network.
This will involve weekly calling into end users from small business to large corporate accounts. Calling into cafes, canteens, catering companies and government departments. You will be negotiating and establishing business with both small business, corporate and government.
You will be visiting distributors weekly and establishing relationships plus assisting them in promoting your product, at times this will involve in tastings and trade shows working with your distributors to develop further business.
We are looking for a sales person that is well spoken and very well presented plus has the ability to communicate at all levels from the SME to Corporate to Government.
The ideal person for this role should have the following;
- Negotiation skills.
- Experience with small and large business.
- Food industry experience or knowledge.
- Sales experience.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent writing / doc composing skills.
- Well presented and high attention to detail a must.
The role will involve a 6 week product training schedule that will involve the manufacturing plant, phone sales, deliveries and other activities that will enhance your skills.
