Our client is one of Australia's most iconic hotels, located in Queensland and an exceptional opportunity exists for a Melbourne based Business Development Manager to join the Sales & Marketing team.

Reporting directly into the Director of Sales & Marketing, this position is responsible for implementing and driving all sales activities and maximising business opportunities within the Melbourne market for this prominent Queensland luxury hotel. You will possess strong knowledge of the corporate and leisure market segments and have developed strong contacts across the sector. You will have proven experience working with online marketing partners and have the ability to drive small meetings and incentives from the conference market.

Based in Melbourne, you will be a self-driven individual with the ability to prioritise and effectively manage your schedule. You will be a business orientated manager who has the ability to add to the future vision and direction of the company. You will work well in an independent environment, and possess a passion for the luxury hotel sector. You will be an ambassador for the brand, be impeccably presented and possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
