Health Information Manager/Clinical Coder

Part Time – Fitzroy Campus
2 days per week


A varied and interesting position is being offered to a hardworking and motivated Health Information Manager/Clinical Coder. The successful applicant will join a supportive team of 16 HIM’s/clinical coders.

The responsibilities will include:
•Coding
•Participation in coding audits
•Participation in coding education

This position is 2 days per week with the ability to work an extra day if desired.

Essential Criteria:
•Qualifications in Health Information Management/Clinical Coder
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•A minimum of 12 months experience in coding
•Coding experience using ICD-10-AM

Desirable Criteria
•Demonstrated team player
•Attention to detail
•Initiative and enthusiasm
•Understanding of EQuIP

The position reports to the Manager of Health Information Services.
