A part time Grade 3 Psychologist - Pain Management Clinic is required to join Victoria's first accredited Pain Management Clinic with Barwon Health Geelong.

A dynamic psychologist with significant experience is required to co-ordinate psychological services and interdisciplinary programs within the Pain Unit at The Geelong Hospital in a part time capacity. It is envisaged that the successful applicant will work 60.8 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE). Applicants considering ????? ?????.6 hours per fortnight (0.6 FTE) will be considered.

This clinic was the first Pain Management Clinic in Victoria to be accredited by the faculty of Pain Medicine of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists for post-graduate training. An innovative, evidence based approach is taken to treatment.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate good diagnostic skills, a sound grasp of cognitive behavioural principles as they apply to pain management, and the ability to supervise and lead an interdisciplinary team involved with groups. A post-graduate degree and eligibility for membership of either the College of Clinical or Health Psychologists is highly preferable.
