Speech Pathologist - Grade 2 - Community Rehab Centre
Barwon Health’s, North Geelong rehab centre has a challenging and exciting position for a Speech Pathologist to join their dynamic team.
. Temporary 3 months part time
. Based at the McKellar Centre - North Geelong
You will be suitably qualified Speech Pathologist and be eligible for professional registration. You will display good time management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills and hold a current drivers licence. A competent Grade 1 Speech Pathologist will be considered.
You will be a part of the multidisciplinary team responsible for the provision of Speech Pathology assessment and management of communication/swallowing disorders as a result of neurological origin. You will be supported via formal supervision and mentoring, formal evidence-based practice program and professional development.
Barwon Health provides Acute Care (The Geelong Hospital), Rehabilitation and Subacute Care (McKellar Centre) and Community and Mental Health services for the Barwon South West Region. There are 17 Speech Pathologists employed within Barwon Health.
