Naiman Clarke currently has a great career opportunity for a nursing professional to join a reputable rehabilitation centre located close to Melbourne’s city centre.
The centre deals with major specialities including Orthopaedic, Trauma, Neurological, spinal cord and General Reconditioning rehabilitation.
At present, a vacancy exists for a highly skilled and experienced Rehabilitation Nurse to undertake the role of Nurse Unit Manager and provide clinical leadership.
The role will entail coordination of the nursing team and patient care within the unit, discharge planning, educating both staff and patients, and liaising with medical staff.
Essential criteria:
- Demonstrated clinical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- The ability to provide staff and students professional development and clinical supervision
- Problem solving skills
- Understanding of the health funding models
Understanding of KPI's and labour management
- Excellent customer focus
- Understanding of the EQUIP process for accreditation
Ideally, the successful applicant will have previous management experience within Rehabilitation.
