    Marthakal Homeland Resource Centre has a health service department dedicated to supplying the health needs of approximately 500 Indigenous Australians living in their traditional homelands.

    The Centre is based at Elcho Island, an island off the coast of Arnhem Land. It is located at the southern end of the Wessel Islands group in the East Arnhem Region. The island's town community is the settlement of Galiwin'ku, located near the island's southern tip.

    Galiwin'ku is the largest Aboriginal community in northeast Arnhem Land, and is home to a number of tribal groups, with up to 22 different dialects being used in the community. The township is a tranquil town providing great weather and fishing, as well as daily flights to and from Darwin.


    About the Opportunity

    Marthakal Homeland Resource Centre has a unique opportunity for a Registered Nurse Manager to join their team on Elcho Island, NT.

    In this role, you will actively lead and manage staff, overseeing the mobile health clinics and be responsible for all reports, submissions and program budgets.
