DIV 1/3 - PART TIME, FULL TIME, CASUAL,
St. Vincent’s Aged Psychiatry Service which includes Auburn House is a vibrant, cohesive service with strong links to the University of Melbourne through its Academic Unit. Based in the community, our residential aged care facilities are fully accredited, purpose-built 30 bedded nursing homes. The facilities are well provided with support services and consultants from the network of the main organisation and enjoy being part of a group of Residential facilities with systems developed to provide support for each other. This provides our employees with the opportunity to provide excellent, patient-focussed care to our residents.
You are an appropriately qualified nurse to with a desire participate in the delivery of excellence in care to people with psychiatric disorders of old age, or challenging behaviours associated with dementia.
You have a strong knowledge and understanding of psychiatric disorders of old age, ACFI and Commonwealth and State legislation with regard to residential care. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to the values of the organisation.
