Forensicare operates as the primary psychiatric assessment and treatment provider for Victoria's prisons, including the Acute Assessment Unit and Outpatients' services at the Melbourne Assessment Prison where this position is located.

The successful applicant will be required to function as an autonomous and highly skilled forensic mental health nurse, working within a specialised multidiciplinary team focused on achieving optimum patient outcomes in a custodial environment.
