Melbourne Citymission’s Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Unit aims to provide quality services and advocacy for people with an acquired brain injury to maximise their opportunities to freely make choices and to participate in the community. The ABI Team provides case management, outreach and associated services, and service development activities to address gaps in services we identify as part of our work. We offer a range of services, some Statewide and others in metropolitan areas.

CASE MANAGER ABI COMMUNITY ACCESS PROGRAM
The Community Access Program, which forms part of the ABI Community Services Team, provides intensive case management and outreach support to adults with ABI residing in the Northern and Eastern metropolitan regions of Melbourne.
A vacancy exists for a case manager to work in the Community Access Program. We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic person to work within a team of experienced ABI case managers. This is a part time and a fixed term position for 12 months. The role is classified a Social Worker Class 2 as per the SACS Award. We are seeking a person with ABI and/or disability related case management experience. A tertiary qualification in a relevant health or community service discipline is required. CASE MANAGER, STATEWIDE ABI CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICE
The Statewide ABI Case Management Service provides services for up to 130 people with non-compensable ABI annually, including contracted case management from the Slow To Recover program. The service also provides complex, specialist ABI case management services to identified clients, as well as sub-contracting case management from local services across Victoria. The team of case managers provide short to medium term interventions to assist people with ABI to better manage their situations after injury, and specialise in seeking out services for people with moderate to severe injuries.
A vacancy exists for a case manager to work in the Statewide ABI Case Management Service. We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic person to work across Victoria, within a team of experienced ABI case managers. This is a part time and a fixed term position until 30th June 2010. The role is classified a Social Worker Class 2 as per the SACS Award. We are seeking a person with ABI and/or disability related case management experience.
